I started my journey as an artist for completely selfish reasons. It grounded me and as it has for so many artists before me, it gave me an outlet to express my frustrations with the world.

With age and maturity I came to realize that sharing my point of view not only brought me joy but allowed me to connect to all of you in a common human experience. My hope is that each color, movement and brush stroke I choose evokes visceral feelings and impassions the viewer to connect and never feel alone in the universe.

The mediums I have encountered on this journey so far are oils, acrylics, spray paint and charcoal…but I’m nothing if not curious to continue to expand my repertoire of knowledge.

I held a solo six month exhibition of my work at a gallery/bar in Santa Barbara’s arts district “Funk Zone”.
